MHC Health Equity Report: A Study of Concentrated Disadvantage
The Harvest Foundation, in partnership with the University of Virginia (UVA) Center for Survey Research, conducted a data analysis to identify areas of concentrated disadvantage in Martinsville and Henry County, Virginia. The analysis looked at multiple measures, at the census-tract-level, to identify how disadvantage may be unequally experienced by certain residents within the community. This report will be used to guide our work in health and economic mobility.
