MARTINSVILLE, VA – VisitMartinsville and Martinsville Speedway are excited to announce they will be hosting the 2019 Hot Rod Power Tour on Sunday, June 9, 2019. The Power Tour is a 7-day, 7-city road trip through the highways and byways of America, with thousands of car folk visiting this nation’s small towns as they wind through a 1,000-plus-mile route with thousands of hot rods, customs, street machines, muscle cars and more!
“We are always looking for ways to utilize Martinsville Speedway for things outside of racing and the Hot Rod Power Tour is something that really checks all the boxes,” Martinsville Speedway President Clay Campbell said. “To bring historic cars to a place with so much history, particularly history with cars, is a natural fit and we are looking forward to hosting the event.”
The 25th annual Hot Rod Power Tour will be even more exciting in 2019 with exciting new feature for auto enthusiasts worldwide. The highly anticipated seven-day, seven-city journey is expected to bring together more than 6,000 vehicles and 100,000-plus spectators; making this event the largest traveling car-show in the world!
The 2019 event will take place from Sunday, June 8 – Friday June 14, 2019.

June 9 – Martinsville Speedway – Martinsville, VA *first time venue
June 10 – Bristol Motor Speedway – Bristol, TN *first time venue
June 11 – Kentucky Speedway – Sparta, KY *first time venue
June 12 – Lucas Oil Raceway – Indianapolis, IN
June 13 – Allen County War Memorial Coliseum – Fort Wayne, IN *first time venue
June 14 – Summit Motorsports Park – Norwalk, OH
