The School Board of Henry County approved the Superintendent’s recommendation to fill one administrative position at their January 3 meeting.
Mrs. Janice Largen will be Supervisor of Regional Alternative. Largen has served learners in Patrick County Public Schools as a classroom teacher since 2004 and earned a Masters of Education in Educational Leadership from James Madison University in 2017. “I am very excited to be joining Henry County Schools. I’ve been watching this educational team over the last few years, and their dedication to student success is top notch. I look forward to the opportunity to learn from new perspectives and share my knowledge in the field as well as meet the students I will be working with.”
The appointment was approved by the School Board after reconvening from closed session.
“I am pleased to welcome Mrs. Largen to Henry County Public Schools. Her dedication to student success is certain to further enhance the Regional program,” said Mrs. Sandy Strayer, Division Superintendent.
