Community leaders in Martinsville & Henry County have identified the lack of available childcare options for parents as a priority issue impacting community residents. Surveys are being conducted to better understand the childcare needs of families, and the barriers they face in accessing affordable, quality childcare.
This information will be used to determine what services are needed, and assist in the development of a plan to address local childcare needs.
The University of Virginia Center for Survey Research is conducting this survey on behalf of the Harvest Foundation, the City of Martinsville, Henry County, and community partners.
