Qualifying applicants must currently reside in or be willing to relocate to Martinsville or Henry County.

To qualify for this program, applicants must be employed in Martinsville or Henry County, with employment commencing on or after July 1, 2024. Applicants are ineligible if they have been previously employed in an equivalent position in Martinsville or Henry County. Pass GO determines position equivalence.

• Qualifying applicants must be fully licensed or credentialed and employed in one of these positions in Martinsville or Henry County.

Only individuals working in approved positions are eligible for Pass GO.

• Approved applicants will be eligible for $5,000 annually as a principal payment on their student loan for a maximum of $50,000 over 10 years. Loans cannot be past due.
• This loan payment will count toward your annual income for IRS/tax purposes.

• Applicants must have a satisfactory job performance evaluation to be eligible for payment.
• You must provide your most recent billing statement for all your student loans.
• The first payment will be made in March/September (dependent on employment start date) after one full year of eligible employment. 
• All payments are made directly to your student loan servicer annually. 
• If approved, you will be required to sign a permission form for use of your photo and/or name for advertising and promotional purposes.
