Its mission is to foster communication and collaboration among grantmakers and others, and to help strengthen the grantmaking community's knowledge, skills, and effectiveness.

Grantmakers In Aging is an inclusive and responsive membership organization that is a national catalyst for philanthropy, with a common dedication to improving the experience of aging.
Kaiser is a non-profit organization focusing on national health issues, as well as the U.S. role in global health policy. Unlike grant-making foundations, Kaiser develops and runs its own policy analysis, journalism and communications programs, sometimes in partnership with major news organizations. The foundation serves as a non-partisan source of facts, analysis and journalism for policymakers, the media, the health policy community and the public.

Virginia's Plan for Well-Being 2016-2020
The Plan is a call to action for Virginians to create and sustain conditions that support health and well-being. This is a companion plan to Virginia's 2016 State Innovation Model Health Improvement Plan, which calls for Accountable Care Communities in Virginia to achieve the triple aim in health care: improving health care quality; improving the health of populations; and reducing the per capita cost of health care.
Natural Learning Initiative

Smart Growth Leadership Institute
Smart Growth America’s Leadership Institute offers workshops, assistance and tools to help states and communities seeking to implement smart growth strategies. The Institute supports leaders with training programs and resources, helps state and local governments develop smart growth implementation strategies, and provides the necessary tools and technical assistance to help leaders move their communities from visions to plans to execution.

State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV)
The State Council of Higher Education for Virginia (SCHEV) makes higher education public policy recommendations to the Governor and General Assembly in such areas as capital and operating budget planning, enrollment projections, institutional technology needs, and student financial aid.
SCHEV administers a variety of educational programs that benefit students, faculty, parents, and taxpayers. SCHEV serves as a catalyst to promote greater access, quality, affordability, and accountability throughout the system. SCHEV also helps policymakers, college administrators, and other concerned leaders work cooperatively and constructively to advance educational excellence.

The Afterschool Alliance was established in 2000 by the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation, the U.S. Department of Education, J.C. Penney Company, Inc., the Open Society Institute/The After-School Corporation, the Entertainment Industry Foundation and the Creative Artists Agency Foundation. Today, the Alliance works with a broad range of organizations and supporters, including policymakers and policymaker associations, advocacy groups, afterschool coalitions and providers at every level, business and philanthropic leaders, technical assistance organizations and leaders representing a variety of interests, each with a stake in afterschool.

National Complete Streets Coalition
A nationwide movement launched by the National Complete Streets Coalition in 2004, Complete Streets integrates people and place in the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of our transportation networks. The Coalition promotes the development and implementation of policies and professional practices that ensure streets are safe for people of all ages and abilities, balance the needs of different modes, and support local land uses, economies, cultures, and natural environments.
