Martinsville Bulletin: United Way providing meaty tax advice at new location in Martinsville

If you sit in a booth at the former Texas Steakhouse, you will be served up the potential of a tax refund instead of a sizzling sirloin.

You will be helped by trained tax preparers with forms and computers, too, instead of wait-staff with pad and paper.

The United Way’s VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program has a new location this year, the former restaurant at 283 Commonwealth Blvd. in Martinsville.
