RIDGEWAY–Students in Joel Bunn’s Language of Life class at Magna Vista High School practiced hands-on learning Thursday.
Arriving back on campus following a fieldtrip to Riverstone Organic Farm in Floyd, the 10th grade students followed Bunn outdoors to the end of the school opposite the football field. There, Bunn planted five shovels in the ground, much to the group’s curiosity.
The teacher expressed a need to the group of Warrior Tech students, one that impacts not only the world, but also some of their closest friends and neighbors.
