MARTINSVILLE - The theme of this year’s Historic Garden Week tour is “Art in Bloom,” and it is – even if there’s a racing-quality engine behind it.
In addition to the flowers which will be artfully displayed during the April 26 tour will be a dozen sleek, shiny Porsches. All 12 are locally owned.
The exhibit ranges from various vintage cars including a 1963 356B to a 2017 911, all parked at the new Community Art Garden, on the corner of Mulberry Road and Starling Avenue. That’s adjacent to the Historic Little Post Office.
